Abigail: A Woman of Wisdom and Diplomacy

In this Bible study, the life of David continues with a focus on the story of Abigail, a woman of beauty, intelligence, and diplomacy, who intervened to prevent David from shedding blood in response to the insults of her foolish husband, Nabal. Drawing from 1 Samuel 24–25, the lesson highlights Abigail’s wisdom, humility, and prophetic insight, as well as her role as a peacemaker and representative of righteousness. Participants are encouraged to seek godly wisdom, become spiritual diplomats, and map David’s life—tracking his wives and children—to better understand biblical history and its application to our lives as ambassadors for Christ.
