Walking Into Your Jerusalem
Preaching from Acts 21, Kadijah Gabriel reflects on Paul’s determination to go to Jerusalem despite repeated prophetic warnings of suffering. She highlights the tension between the believers’ loving pleas to keep him safe and Paul’s unwavering sense of purpose in following God’s call, even at the cost of his life. Kadijah shows how the prophecies were not meant to deter Paul but to prepare his heart, reminding us that each step forward in obedience requires dying to self and walking in faith. She encourages believers to embrace both sides of the story: committing to their own “Jerusalem” by doing the hard work God has assigned them, and supporting others in their journeys through prayer, encouragement, and community. The message closes with a call to communion, urging the church to trust God’s plan, live surrendered, and walk together in unity as the body of Christ.
